Volunteer Clearances

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Act 153 of 2014 states that all volunteers who have contact with children are required to have satisfactory results of PA Criminal Record Check Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Finger Print Check or FBI Alternate Affidavit on file with the respective organization.

Alternate Affidavit form can be used in place of the FBI fingerprint check and must be notarized. Notary services offered free of charge at the office of the Superindendant at Brentwood High School.

If you are interested in volunteering to be a manager, coach, scorekeeper, team parent, umpire etc. your clearances will only be accepted in the following format:

One scan containing the results of all clearances in the following order:

• ·       PA Child Abuse History Clearance

• ·       PA State Police Criminal Record Check

• ·       Federal Bureau of Investigation Criminal Background Check or the FBI Alternate Affidavit
